The beautifully warm city of Sedona creates a gateway-like passage to the spectacular Red Rock Country of Arizona. Its brilliant towering spires, pinnacles and mesas are magnificent against the desert sky and are a far cry from the flat desert make-up associated with the Arizona landscape.

Thanks to its 4,500-foot elevation, Sedona also offers an ideal four-season resort climate with cool summers and mild winters.

Romantic Vacations That Are Easy on Your Pocketbook

When you think of cheap romantic vacations, you may find your mind drawing a picture of some shoddy and quite questionable resort.  But you can leave these to the movies and talk shows on television.  Cheap doesn’t always mean “Cheesy”, for the most part, although, when you are looking to save some money on a trip, you do really want to get details on what you’re looking for.

Just because you and your significant other want to jet off half way around the world to take on a private or romantic getaway, doesn't mean you have to look forward to draining your pocket book or even travel far to experience the same result.  If you know where to look, you don’t have to spend a lot of money or go very far to get away from everyone and everything in your busy life to create a paradise that seems to be worlds away.

Cheap, but not inferior, romantic vacations are available to any savvy budgeter, and you may be surprised that you don’t have to look much further than a few online searches to discover a great package that’s affordable and perfect for both of you.

It may even surprise you that it can be simple to find cozy little bed and breakfast inns or  relaxing private cabins nestled in or near a little town near  you.  You can usually find a great bed and breakfast that  will offer you privacy and romance at an incredible low  price, especially during their down seasons.

And these locations may only require an hour or two  drive  to get there… and away.  You will find that the love  and romance such a setting offers you can compare to the most exotic locations in the world. These inexpensive romantic vacations are often set in rural areas that offer natural beauty and tons of small town charm.
The hospitality in such places can make you feel like you’ve been there a hundred times and almost like a second home.  You may not even have to leave your room to enjoy these conditions.

Several discount travel sites offer cheap romantic vacations online.  These sites have packages that are meant just for lovers, and they know what you’re looking for when it comes to experiencing a true romantic vacation.  So check or ask about their specials and other highlights they offer.

You may find something that jets you off to another part of the country or world for a short three or four-day getaway that affords you what you need at a price you can afford. Remember to plan ahead and have a little down-time to recoup and relax from your journey if you’re traveling far.

Honeymoon horrors are usually created simply because one didn’t look into things that should have.  If you are offered packages for cheap romantic vacations, make sure you check into what you are being offered before you make any transactions.  Unfortunately, there are places that misrepresent what they are and what they offer, and you certainly don’t want to be disappointed when you get there.

Once you find a couple destinations that suit you, search online for reviews of each place and what others have to say who have gone there for a cheap romantic vacation.   If the place seems to have disappointed more than one couple, then definitely think twice before you make any arrangements.

Be diligent about your search and something that is perfectly suitable for you will pop up if you keep looking.

See how you can get an entire week's resort stay paid for by Premier Travel Resorts

Vacationing With Toddlers at Disney

If you’ve ever been to Disneyland, you realize that it was designed for kids of all ages and toddlers are no exception.  Disney has gone to great lengths recently to make sure different themes of the captivating theme park are sectioned off age appropriately so it’s easy to find a location entertaining for different age groups and therefore visitors of every change can stay entertained for hours… and even days.  The one possible predicament is that your family may have to split up if you have a wide range of ages involved.

Not to worry though because with the recent additions to the Disney Theme Park, there is sure to be activity after activity that kids of all ages can enjoy – so many things in fact, that you may as well plan on staying for several days.  And even then, you won’t have time to do them all, so be sure your whole group is well rested, fed and prepared for a busy day of fun and excitement.

The Disneyland Railroad is a delightful express that is enjoyed by all toddlers. This is a great way to get around the park, because there are stations in New Orleans Square, Toon Town, Tomorrowland, and on Main Street. Your toddler is sure to be amused, and the railroad is a great way for you to have a chance to see some sights, create a plan for what you want to see first or to just rest a bit.

Let’s talk about toddler attractions and start with Toon Town. Here is where you will find your toddler’s favorite Disney Characters, including the infamous Mickey and Minnie Mouse. All the Disney Characters have homes in Toon Town and there is a world of things that will amaze your toddler, and of course, to make them laugh.

Pirate model Its A Small World, with all its music and colors will keep your child mesmerized and is definitely toddler appropriate.  You can also enjoy a relaxing ride across the water while listening to enchanting music that is sure to bring back some childhood memories of your own..

The Storybook Land Canal Boats is also an excellent choice if your child is familiar with their story books.  It will take you through the miniature villages that your child will be quite familiar with.
Among the rides that you and your toddler won’t want to miss include all of the rides in Fantasyland, King Arthur’s Carousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Circus Train, and the Mad Tea Party.  The ever-fun and popular ride of Buzz Lightyear remains a great journey ride for all toddlers.

Model castleA few rides to take precautions on that could possibly cause a little fear are the rides that are dark.  These include Peter Pan’s Flight, Pinocchio’s Daring Journey, Alice in Wonderland, and Snow White’s Scary Adventure.

Keeping in mind that Disneyland is a place for kids of all ages; there are many areas of the park that have attractions and rides specific for toddlers and meant to keep their interest level high too.

Be sure to pay attention to the height and age requirements for each attraction, and avoid taking your toddler to rides that interest you but may not be enjoyable for your young one.  This could cause your
child disappointment and make for a long day when they no longer want to stay.

General areas that have toddler appropriate attractions are located close together as much as possible. As an adult, you’ll realize that some rides are simply not safe for small kids – but your little person will not.  So your considerable evaluation is needed.

All in all, Walt Disney Park creators have made sure there is something that entertains everyone and making sure there are plenty of locations suitable for toddlers.  We know the ever attractive theme park can be enjoyed by all.   But of course it’s up to you upon your visit to keep your child safe, occupied, and interested.
