Puerto Vallarta Vacation ~ Tropical Paradise

image

Have you been on a tropical vacation?

I’ve decided that tropical vacations are good for the "soul".  Simply put, it’s just important for anyone to take the time and get away from the daily grind.

Here’s a different "to do" list which for your next tropical vacation:

* Open the window or balcony to hear waves that can sing you to sleep each night.

* Apply plenty of sunscreen (remember the tops of your feet).

* Take time to see the sunset or sunrise each and every day.

* Spend secluded time with your partner.

* Practice your foreign language skills ...  like – “Hello, Good Morning”  etc…

* Bring a book to enjoy while you relax.

* Enjoy a refreshing drink by the pool.

* Take time to chat with the locals.  It’s fun and you learn a lot and, you know, people like to talk about what they know.

* Make sure to exercise ... walk the beach, enjoy a bike ride, surfboard, explore the city.

*  If you miss one or two workouts... don’t beat yourself up.

*  Check out attractions and activities online before you go.

* … Last but not least ~  Relax and enjoy!

Traveling as an informed tourist is just smart.  With a better understanding of the culture, the acceptance of poverty, and a more relaxed attitude will allow you to enjoy the hospitality of Mexico much more.

While in Puerto Vallarta you can experience a vast array of experiences like: kayaking with a herd of dolphins, swimming, catch a wave on a surfboard, scuba dive, watch people and families or the company of others you travel with, walk on the beach… and much more. Enjoying a dance partner all night with Mariachi Band that just cannot beat that!  You’ll find that they are more than happy to serenade you and/or your partner on your trip. Not to mention, you’ll find there are an abundance of great smiles to be shared.

You can find a very good local transport (bus) for ease, and they are very inexpensive.  You can take in an adventure trip to Yelapa, south of Puerto Vallarta that is exclusively reached by boat.  You’ll feel like you’re a visitor on "Gilligan's Island".  Here, local women sell amazing servings of cakes.  I’ve heard a “must try” is the lemon meringue and coconut cream.  You’ll probably go home dreaming about them more than anything else on the trip (delicious!).

Taking a short afternoon trip up to Punta Mita (as far north as the bus will take you) is definitely worth planning.  You can watch the surfers ride the waves, or just enjoy a quiet day in a beautiful white sand beach. A high recommendation is to "La Palapa" restaurant where the fish are outstanding and the Mexican coffee prepared table-side is a super treat.

A journey to Mexico can be quick from southern California. A 7 night stay allows plenty of time for de-stressing and planning your week’s activities as well as taking on all the things mentioned here.  Plus, it allows you to really get in the holiday mood and give time to really enjoy your stay, instead of dreading having to leave in a short 3 or 4 days

There are different resorts to stay at in Nuevo (New) Vallarta, north of the city.  You can walk for miles along the beach to experience the refreshing breeze or take on the waves with a boogie board.

You can discover the magnificence of the Pacific Oceans beaches... get involved with the relaxed pace of life in the most exclusive and complete location... You can create unforgettable moments at the Grand Mayan.
