Alaskan Ski Vacation

With Alaska experiencing longer than usual early spring days, The Alyeska Resort’s ski season begins in mid November, and runs through mid April, so this area of Alaska boasts the longest daytime ski areas in the entire United States.  Approximate daylight hours last sixteen hours each day through April, although December only has about seven hours of daylight – which makes night time skiing necessary if you are going to get in the time that you want to spend on the slopes.
